En los casos de accidentes de tránsito, el cubrimiento de los servicios de salud y demás prestaciones económicas seguirán a cargo de las aseguradoras autorizadas para administrar el Seguro Obligatorio de Daños Corporales Causados a las Personas en Accidentes de Tránsito, SOAT. Igualmente, estas aseguradoras administrarán los recursos del Fonsat, con el fin de atender las coberturas que a él correspondan de acuerdo con este decreto.
