Artículo sexto. Corresponde a la Secretaria de Obras Públicas cumplir las siguientes funciones

a)

Elaborar los planes y programas de obras públicas del Territorio.

b)

Ejecutar planes y programas de obras públicas.

c)

Construir, reconstruir y conservar carreteras, caminos, edificios, puentes, etc.

d)

Prestar asistencia técnica a los Municipios y Corregimientos para la elaboración y ejecución de sus programas.

e)

Hacer cumplir las normas dadas por la Dirección General de Intendencias y Comisarias sobre el crecimiento urbano de las poblaciones del Territorio.

f)

Coordinar las actividades de las entidades que adelanten programas afines.
