En caso de desabastecimiento en el país, el Ministerio de la Protección Social importará plaguicidas para uso en salud pública, sin los requisitos establecidos en las normas sanitarias y ambientales vigentes, previo concepto favorable de la Dirección de Licencias, Permisos y Trámites Ambientales del Ministerio de Ambiente, Vivienda y Desarrollo Territorial.
