Oportunidad para rendir versión libre y espontánea. Quien tenga conocimiento de la existencia de una investigación disciplinaria en su contra, podrá solicitar al correspondiente funcionario que le reciba versión libre y espontánea y éste la recibirá, en cualquier etapa del procedimiento. Siempre que al servidor público se le reciba versión libre y espontánea, se le hará conocer el derecho de ser asistido por un abogado, pudiendo renunciar a tal derecho, circunstancia de la cual se dejará expresa constancia en la diligencia.
