Los propietarios están en la obligación de dar libre entrada a sus fincas a los ingenieros del Instituto Geográfico "Agustín Codazzi" y en general a los funcionarios encargados del establecimiento y conservación del catastro nacional, debidamente autorizados. Deben también conservar bajo su responsabilidad, los puntos fijos, señales u otras referencias indispensables a las operaciones topográficas y catastrales, localizadas en sus propiedades. El órgano ejecutivo, al reglamentar este Código, determinará las penas aplicables a quienes violen las disposiciones contenidas en el presente artículo.
