El giro de los recursos del Sistema General de Participaciones para subsidios a la demanda se efectuarán a los fondos municipales, distritales o departamentales de salud, en los diez (10) primeros días del mes siguiente al que corresponde la transferencia, conforme lo señala el artículo 53 de la Ley 715 de 2001.
