La declaratoria de extinción se hará previo el procedimiento establecido en los artículos precedentes, y contra ella proceden los recursos previstos por el Decreto 2733 de 1959. Al quedar en firme la providencia que declare la extinción, se podrá iniciar el trámite de solicitudes de concesión para el aprovechamiento de tales aguas.
