EXENCIONES. Las maquinarias, equipos técnicos, materiales y repuestos que importen los titulares de derechos mineros con destino a exploración, explotación, beneficio y transformación de minerales; o para transporte y sustitución de hidrocarburos por carbón, cuando se trate de carbón; o las importaciones de bienes de capital que vayan a ser utilizados en la etapa de explotación de pequeñas unidades auríferas, continuarán exentos del pago de derechos de aduana en los términos señalados por las normas legales que rigen y regulan estas exenciones.
