COMPETENCIA DE LOS ALCALDES. Corresponde a los alcaldes velar porque el barequeo se ejecute fuera de las áreas y lugares mencionados en el artículo 135 y porque no interfiera las obras y operaciones respaldadas en un título minero. También les corresponde resolver los conflictos que se presenten entre los barequeros y los de estos con los beneficiarios de títulos y con los propietarios y ocupantes de los terrenos.
