OTORGAMIENTO DE LA PRORROGA. La prórroga del período inicial de las licencias de exploración se concederá al interesado que la solicite con antelación de dos (2) meses al vencimiento del término inicial y demuestre haber realizado, en forma completa, los trabajos básicos de exploración y que se justifican otros, adicionales o complementarios, para un mejor soporte técnico del Informe Final de Exploración o del Programa de Trabajo e Inversiones, incluyendo en éste, el de las obras de transporte especial y de embarque, cuando a ello hubiere lugar. Si el Ministerio no se pronuncia dentro de los treinta (30) días siguientes a la solicitud de prórroga, ésta se entenderá aceptada.
