EXPLORACIONES DE PEQUEÑA MINERIA. Cuando se pretenda realizar trabajos de exploración en terrenos distintos de los de aluvión en los lechos y márgenes de los ríos, cuya meta propuesta sea una explotación de pequeña minería, la licencia podrá abarcar hasta cien (100) hectáreas. Los mineros que realicen explotaciones con minidragas hasta de ocho (8) pulgadas y con motobombas hasta de 16 H.P., aun que se clasifican como pequeños mineros, no requieren de título minero; solamente deberán inscribirse en la alcaldía correspondiente.
