FACULTAD DE INVESTIGACION. En cualquier tiempo podrá el Ministerio, directamente o a través de sus entidades adscritas o vinculadas, realizar investigaciones geológico mineras sobre yacimientos, depósitos o minas amparadas por títulos mineros. Para proteger los intereses de sus beneficiarios, las investigaciones se efectuarán en forma que no interfieran las labores de aquellos y los funcionarios que las adelanten o que conozcan sus resultados por razón de su cargo, guardarán la debida reserva sobre los documentos y datos que la requieran.
