La falta de los títulos de propiedad plenamente establecida, podrá suplirse con declaraciones de testigos hábiles que demuestren la posesión quieta y pacífica, como señor y dueño, ejercida por el peticionario o sus antecesores sobre el inmueble destruido o averiado, en un lapso anterior de diez años, contados a partir de la fecha del incendio.
