Abandono. La Dirección de Aduanas Nacionales declarará de oficio el abandono de la mercancía a favor de la Nación cuando se venza el término previsto en el artículo 18 de este Decreto, sin haberse obtenido autorización para el levante de la mercancía. Así mismo, la Dirección de Aduanas Nacionales podrá aceptar el abandono voluntario u ofrecimiento de la mercancía que realice por escrito quien pueda disponer de ella. En este evento el oferente sufragará los gastos que el abandono ocasione.
