Cuando los Juzgados Superiores de Distrito Judicial comisionen a otras autoridades para la práctica de pruebas o de diligencias que tiendan a perfeccionar los procesos, los respectivos Fiscales podrán intervenir ante dichas autoridades si residieren en el mismo lugar, vigilando que la comisión se cumpla debidamente o asumiendo el Ministerio Público si lo estiman conveniente. En este último caso desplazarán al personero Municipal. Si la comisión se cumpliere fuera de la sede, el Fiscal del Juzgado Superior dará aviso al procurador de Distrito, quien tendrá las mismas facultades de vigilancia e intervención, por sí mismo o por intermedio del funcionario que designe.
