Anualmente el tribunal superior disciplinario elegirá un presidente y un vicepresidente de distinta filiación política quienes formaran la sala de gobierno de la corporación con las mismas funciones y atribuciones que le correspondan a la sala de gobierno de la corte suprema de justicia en lo pertinente.
