El Soldado o Grumete de las Fuerzas Militares en servicio activo, tanto en el país como en el país como en el exterior, tiene derecho a que el Gobierno le suministre atención médica, quirúrgica, servicios hospitalarios, odontológicos y farmacéuticos, ya sea en hospitales militares o en clínicas o por medio de contratos con establecimientos hospitalarios, de acuerdo con reglamentación que expida el Gobierno.
