º. Los que residan en el mismo lugar en donde deban ejercer su cargo, sólo tendrán derecho a una remuneración equivalente a la suma de veinte pesos ($ 20) por su asistencia a las elecciones, y de cuarenta ($ 40) si concurrieren tanto a éstas como a los escrutinios, y siempre que no sean empleados públicos. Estas circunstancias se comprobarán con certificado del Alcalde.
