ARTICULO 4º En la resolución que disponga la protección, el Fiscal General podrá disponer, si fuere necesario, la expedición de una nueva identidad civil (actas de registro civil, cédula de ciudadanía, pasaporte, libreta militar, certificado judicial) y demás documentos, títulos académicos y certificados públicos que estime pertinentes, sin que para su tramitación deban cumplirse los procedimientos ordinarios. Los documentos que se expidan para la eficaz protección de víctimas, testigos o funcionarios, tendrán pleno valor aprobatorio.
