Los pasaportes ordinarios expedidos dentro y fuera del país serán válidos por cinco (5) años a partir de la fecha de expedición y caducarán al cabo de ese término, sin perjuicio de lo dispuesto en el artículo 19 del presente Decreto. Los pasaportes ordinarios expedidos con anterioridad al 2 de julio de 1981 no serán revalidados y sus titulares deberán solicitar nuevo pasaporte.
