Ley 14 de 1979 · por medio de la cual se restablece la defensa del idioma español y se da una autorización a la Academia Colombiana de la Lengua.

Autorízase a la Academia Colombiana de la Lengua para que invierta las sumas que actualmente tiene en su poder, procedentes de los premios Vergara y Vergara, y Félix Restrepo, en publicaciones de la Corporación o adquisición de libros para la biblioteca.

La convocatoria para el premio Félix Restrepo versará sobre Filología, Lingüística o Crítica Literaria.

Cuando se declare desierto cualquiera de los mencionados concursos, el premio correspondiente se acumulará al del siguiente año.
