El subsector privado del sector salud en el nivel nacional estará conformado por las fundaciones o instituciones de utilidad común, asociaciones o corporaciones sin ánimo de lucro y personas naturales o jurídicas privados con ánimo de lucro, que presten servicios de salud en más de un departamento, intendencia o comisaria, o en todo el territorio nacional.
