Para todos los efectos legales se entiende que la profesión de Diseñador Industrial, reconocida y regulada por la Ley 157 de 1994, es la que académicamente exige estudios regulares en un programa de la modalidad de formación universitaria y cuyo título de Diseñador Industrial habilita para su ejercicio, de acuerdo con los requisitos que la Ley 30 de 1992 contempla para obtener un título profesional.
