Art 2º. Los datos estadísticos que se reúnan por primera vez en la Oficina de este nombre, sobre los asuntos indicados en el artículo anterior, deberán contener, en cuanto sea posible, una historia abreviada del origen y desarrollo de la población, de la creación y progreso de las industrias y delos establecimientos de diversa especie, correspondientes á los varios asuntos que quedan mencionados. Respecto de los otros ramos, los datos contendrán las noticias geográficas, corográficas y topográficas más indispensables.
