º. Requisitos del área de las Zonas Francas. El área que se solicite declarar como Zona Franca deberá cumplir con los siguientes requisitos

Ser continua y no inferior a veinte (20) hectáreas.

Tener aptitud para ser dotada de infraestructura básica.

Que en ella no se estén realizando las actividades que el proyecto solicitado planea promover y se trate de inversiones nuevas.
