El cargo de apoderado, únicamente para los efectos de la indagatoria del sindicado, puede ser confiado a cualquier ciudadano honorable, siempre que en el lugar donde se cometió el delito o en donde se decrete la detención preventiva no hubiere abogado inscrito que atienda a esa diligencia al presunto delincuente, o porque exista cualquier otro motivo debidamente justificado.
