REDUCCIONES DEL CAPITAL. La Junta Directiva del Fondo, previo informe de la Superintendencia Bancaria, podrá ordenar la reducción simplemente nominal del capital social de una institución inscrita, y esto se hará sin necesidad de recurrir a su asamblea o a la aceptación de los acreedores. La reducción nominal del capital social de una institución financiera inscrita, a que se refiere el presente artículo, implicará igualmente la reducción del valor nominal de las acciones de dicha institución.
