Otros funcionarios de Instrucción. Los Jueces Municipales Penales y Promiscuos adelantarán la instrucción de las infracciones de contrabando que se cometan en el territorio de su jurisdicción, mientras la asume un juez de instrucción o del conocimiento. Los Jueces de Instrucción Criminal adelantarán la investigación de delitos de contrabando por decisión del respectivo Director Seccional de Instrucción Criminal, tomada a solicitud del juez del conocimiento o del Ministerio Público, cuando así lo aconsejen la gravedad y características de la infracción.
