La base para signar la pensión es el sueldo mensual de actividad, correspondiente al último grado del Oficial.

Parágrafo

La cuantía o valor de la pensión será igual a la mitad del sueldo indicado en este artículo; y por cada año más se servicio militar de los veinticinco fijados en el artículo 11, se concederá una vigesimoquinta parte más del sueldo mensual del grado o destino del Oficial sin que en ningún caso pueda pasar la pensión de cien pesos ($100.00) mensuales.
