La solicitud se hará al Director del establecimiento de pena tres meses antes del día en que se cumpla la pena efectiva; se entiende por pena efectiva el tiempo que resulta de la diferencia entre la pena fijada en la sentencia y la suma del tiempo de rebaja a que tenga derecho, en virtud del artículo 114 del Código Penal y Ley 30 del presente año.
