La Comisión tendrá dos tipos de reuniones: Ordinarias, como cuerpo consultivo, las que serán convocadas por el Presidente de la República, y las informativas, las convocadas por el Ministro de Relaciones Exteriores. Estas últimas se realizarán por lo menos una vez cada dos meses, siempre y cuando no haya tenido lugar una reunión ordinaria en el mismo período.
