La Nación se asocia a la celebración del cuarto centenario del Municipio de Supía, en el Departamento de Caldas, que se cumple el 2 de febrero de 1940. Con tal finalidad destínase un auxilio de veinte mil pesos ($ 20,000 .00) que se distribuye de la manera siguiente: Para el matadero público . $ 10,000.00 Para el local de la escuela pública de niñas 5,000.00 Para el local de la escuela pública de varones 5,000.00
