El servicio comunitario de radio difusión sonora en Frecuencia Modulada (F.M.) se podrá prestar en la banda de ochenta y ocho (88) Mhz a ciento ocho (108) Mhz, con una potencia efectiva radiada (per) máxima de quinientos (500) vatios. El Ministerio de Comunicaciones, teniendo en cuenta la extensión del área que se pretende cubrir, la topografía y el número de habitantes, podrá determinar en cada caso en particular la potencia efectiva radiada, sin exceder el límite previsto en el inciso anterior.
