Las detenidas o condenadas no pueden tener consigo a sus hijos, sino hasta que éstos cumplan la edad de dos años, y durante este tiempo tendrán dormitorio separado de las demás. Cumplida tal edad, se entregarán los menores a quien legalmente corresponda, y en su defecto, a la persona que indique la madre o al establecimiento de beneficencia más apropiado.
