La renuncia de las empresas a dar cumplimiento a las obligaciones establecidas en este Decreto y en el 2474 de 1948, o a suministrar los informes que se les soliciten, podrá ser sancionada por el respectivo Inspector Seccional del Trabajo con mutas de $ 5 a $ 500, según la gravedad de la infracción, y sin perjuicio de las responsabilidades civiles en que puedan incurrir por tales infracciones. Estas multas son reformables por el funcionario que las imponga y apelables en el efecto suspensivo ante el Ministerio del Trabajo, dentro de los diez días siguientes de su notificación.
