Las posiciones se consignan en la misma petición, o se formulan, por separado, en pliego cerrado mantenido en reserva hasta el momento de ser absuelto, salvo que la persona a quien se pidan resida en lugar distinto, pues en este caso, al comisionar para la práctica de la diligencia, el comitente califica previamente las preguntas, y para esto, abre el pliego y luego vuelve a cerrarlo antes de hacer la remisión.
