Los buques que entren a los puertos de la República serán visitados por el Jefe del Resguardo y el Médico de Sanidad. Si el Administrador de la Aduana lo juzgare conveniente, puede disponer que otro u otros empleados de la Aduana y del Resguardo concurran también a esta diligencia. A los particulares le es prohibida la entrada al buque en este acto.
