El artículo cuarto del Decreto legislativo número 2966-bis de 1953, quedará así Artículo cuarto autorizase al Intendente Nacional de San Andrés y Providencia para gravar con un impuesto de consumo de seis centavos ($ 0.06) por cada peso o fracción sobre el valor de los artículos de procedencia extranjera; que se den a la venta en territorio de la Intendencia y que tengan un valor superior a un peso ($ 1.00), excepto los víveres y las drogas.

Parágrafo

Tal impuesto se hará efectivo por medio de estampillas y se incluirá en el presupuesto intendencial con destino a las obras de mayor urgencia.
