Cada empresa está obligada a llevar a bordo de sus botes, y por cada cuatro (4) de ellos, un aprendiz de buzo o de Cabo de Vida, que el Inspector de Pesca escogerá entre los colombianos que lo soliciten y estén mejor capacitados para ese oficio. Y tiene además la obligación de facilitarle el aprendizaje y práctica del oficio por medio del buzo, Cabo de Vida y aparatos del bote.
