Toda persona que sea designada por la autoridad competente para auxiliar a la justicia en cuestiones técnicas, tendrá la obligación de prestar su concurso inmediato y gratuito. La renuncia a prestar el servicio acarrea las consecuencias a que se refiere el inciso 2º del artículo 257 del Código de Procedimiento Penal.
