Los representantes no gubernamentales serán escogidos por el Presidente de la República de ternas que presenten las entidades que determine el Gobierno nacional por decreto. Para estos efectos, las entidades que señale el decreto reglamentario deberán corresponder a los siguientes sectores: a las Asociaciones Médicas que tengan el carácter de consultivas del Gobierno nacional; a las Confederaciones de Trabajadores reconocidas por el Gobierno Nacional, y a las Asociaciones Patronales de los distintos sectores de la producción reconocidas por el Gobierno nacional.
