Es prohibido a los dueños o tenedores de predios, situados a inmediaciones de las fuentes de que se provee de agua la ciudad, ensuciar dichas aguas con despojos de minas u otros semejantes. La autoridad tomará las medidas conducentes, de acuerdo con las leyes y ordenanzas de Policía, para mantener dichas agua en el mayor estado de limpieza que fuere posible.
