Art. 1845 Las donaciones por causa de matrimonio, sea que se califiquen de dote, arras o con cualquiera otra denominación, admiten plazos, condiciones i cualesquiera otras estipulaciones lícitas, i están sujetas a las reglas generales de las donaciones, en todo lo que no se oponga a las disposiciones especiales de este título.

En todas ellas se entiende la condición de celebrarse o haberse celebrado el matrimonio.
