Con el objeto de contribuír a la difusión de la cultura, auxilíase al Teatro Popular de Bogotá con la suma de ciento cincuenta mil pesos ($ 150.000.00), en el año de la expedición de la presente Ley y con igual suma en cada uno de los cuatro años siguientes. Dicho auxílio se destinará a gastos de funcionamiento, y se someterá a las normas de vigilancia y control vigentes sobre la materia.
