Para los efectos de lo establecido por este Decreto en el artículo 2º, entiéndese por enseñanza media aquella que se imparte en establecimientos educativos que exigen como requisito indispensable para la matrícula de sus educandos, el haber cursado y aprobado la totalidad de las materias que constituyen el plan de estudios de la enseñanza primaria, cualquiera que sea la modalidad de tales establecimientos.
