Art. 124. El alumno oficial que en uso del permiso que le concede el artículo anterior se ausente del Instituto, tiene derecho á que se le dé en dinero una suma igual á la que se le paga al contratista por la alimentación de dicho alumno durante un tiempo igual al en que permanezca ausente de Bogotá.
