La primera autoridad política del lugar puede conceder licencia a los Magistrados de los Tribunales, Jueces de Circuito y a los Municipales para separarse del ejercicio de sus funciones. El término de la licencia puede ser hasta de noventa días en el año, pudiendo prorrogarse por otros noventa días en caso de enfermedad debidamente comprobada.
