Se entiende por ejercicio de la profesión de Optometría la mensuración y determinación de los defectos de refracción y acomodación, el ensayo y la prescripción de las lentes que corrigen tales defectos, la determinación y medidas científicas de los defectos de refracción, acomodación, ensayo y prescripción de dichas lentes.
