Paso 2. Selección de indicadores para el seguimiento. Tomando como referencia los objetivos y estructura del Plan Nacional de Desarrollo (PND), al igual que la Formulación Estratégica (paso 1), se seleccionan las baterías de indicadores a las que se les harán seguimiento. Estas deberán ser entregadas por las entidades responsables al Departamento Nacional de Planeación (DNP), aprobadas por las direcciones técnicas del Departamento Nacional de Planeación (DNP) y avaladas por la Dirección de Seguimiento y Evaluación de Políticas Públicas (DSEPP) del Departamento Nacional de Planeación (DNP).
