Los colonos voluntarios y los forzados por vagos y perniciosos adquirirán derecho de propiedad sobre el lote de terreno que les hubiere sido adjudicado, un año después de su llegada a la Colonia, siempre que lo tengan cultivado en la mitad de su extensión. Los reos rematados adquirirán ese mismo derecho seis meses después de cumplido el tiempo de su condena y hubieren demostrado haberse vinculado a sus cultivos de modo definitivo.
